Subject: Two stolen mopeds, one got away
I just witnessed two teenagers
pushing two stolen mopeds through the alley between R Street & Randolph
Place, into an abandoned house's rear garage, and trying to jumpstart/hotwire
both. I called the police, and they came fairly promptly, but were only 5
seconds too late to apprehend them. The kids were able to start one of the two
scooters and got (barely) away. The other bike was left behind and the police
will try to locate the owner. If anyone knows the rightful owner, here's a
picture of the remaining silver moped and its VA tag 32790M.
