gun recovery last night on the 100 block of U Street NW

Good morning 5D Community,                                                        

This evening in 5D, Officers recovered a loaded Black Remington M1911A1 .45APC Semi-Automatic pistol in the 100 block of U St, NW.   An adult male was arrested and charged with the firearm.  Great job by Evenings.  Arrest details will follow at a later time.
