North Capitol Main Street (NCMS) is having its 1st ever fundraising gala - the "Taste of North Capitol" on Thursday, June 1 at 7pm at the NPR building.
NCMS is a is a 501c(3) nonprofit corporation founded in 2003 with the primary purpose of serving as a catalyst for neighborhood commercial revitalization of the North Capitol corridor, which includes the neighborhoods of Bloomingdale, Eckington and Truxton Circle. NCMS has been essential to the revitalization of the North Capitol Corridor, but like all non-profits is highly reliant on contributions and fundraising efforts.

Where: NPR Atrium, 1111 North Capitol Street, Washington, DC 20002
Why: Hang out at NPR with, enjoy tasty eats from North Capitol corridor businesses, get a nifty gift bag, support the businesses and ongoing revitalization of the North Capitol corridor, and learn more about the work of Main Streets organizations like NCMS.
How: Purchase a ticket ($75 in advance on Eventbrite, $100 at the door) and join me on June 1 or consider supporting NCMS with a donation. $75, I know but we'll make it worth it and it all goes to a great cause!
