El Camino in Bloomingdale is looking forward to a great October. Artist Quest Skinner has installed several pieces of her art on the walls of the restaurant, which will be on display for the remainder of the month. 

Also, throughout the month, the bar will be offering a special Dark & Stormy cocktail made with Cruzan Black Strap & Thunderbeast Ginger Beer. $1 from each $8 cocktail will go to Tim Duncan’s 21 US Virgin Island Relief Fund. The fundraiser will run through Dia de los Muertos on November 2nd.

They’ll also be taking part in Chefs Unite for World Food Day on October 13th. Ten percent of the day’s profits will go to benefit World Central Kitchen.

Friday, October 13th is the monthly La Noche de la Musica with DJ Jon Sun B, starting at 10pm (no cover), and the monthly Velvet Thursday LGBT Happy Hour will be held on October 19th. As always, Thursday nights are All You Can Eat Tacos and Wednesdays feature a special Familia menu with large, shareable plates for the whole family.
