Arrest Made in Multiple Burglary One Offenses

(Washington, DC) - Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced an arrest has been made in nine Burglary One offenses that occurred in the First District, Fourth District and Fifth District.

                      

On Monday, November 13, 2017, pursuant to DC Superior Court arrest warrants, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested and charged 23-year-old Deaundrey Williams, of Northeast, DC, with two counts of Burglary One.  
                                                       

As a result of the detectives’ investigation, Williams was charged with one additional count of Burglary One and six counts of Burglary One w/ Armed (Knife) for the below offenses.

·         Burglary One while Armed (Knife): On Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at approximately 11:05 pm, in the Unit block of S Street, Northwest. CCN: 17-163-736

o    The suspect entered an occupied residence, at the listed location, while armed with a knife and demanded US currency from the victim.  The suspect then fled with the victim’s property.
