Comprehensive Plan: Bloomingdale is categorized as a "Neighborhood Conservation Area"; proposed future land use of "medium density residential"

The DC Office of Planning is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan.

Here are three slides that cover Bloomingdale.

Note that Bloomingdale is part of the MidCity Area Element.

Note that Bloomingdale's proposed land use is medium density residential.

(From the Committee of 100's review of the proposed Comp Plan changes: "Medium density residential currently limits mid-rise apartment buildings to 4-7 stories; the Mayor’s bill deletes the 4-7 story limit and there is no height maximum.")

And note that Bloomingdale is labeled as a Neighborhood Conservation Area.
