Dear neighbors: 

Outreach Representatives from the Mayor's Office of Community Relations and Services have been in communication with Fire/EMS in regards to a reported fire on the 1800 block of 2nd St NW. There are no reported  injuries at this time. 

1800 of 2nd ST is closed in both directions. Please use alternate routes. (update as needed) 

The Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department is still on the scene. We ask that residents avoid this area and follow the instructions of emergency management personnel.
