On
Tuesday, March 12, 2019 members from 3D hosted a Coffee with a Cop at Big Bear
Café located at 1700 1st St NW. Lieutenant Dawn Anu Amen Ra and ANC
Commissioner Karla Lewis cohosted the event. Owner of Big Bear Stu Davenport
provided coffee for attendees. The discussion ranged from abandoned cars to
increase criminal activity as the weather breaks.
As the discussion was going
on officers passed through the business to introduce themselves, briefly
discuss what was occurring in the area and back out to patrol. Residents
enjoyed engaging with the officers, and looking forward to seeing them out in
the community.
