On Yesterday's
Primary Election
|
|
|
Councilmember
McDuffie was out safely visiting with residents at voting centers
during yesterday's primary election. Unfortunately, some District
residents had to wait upwards of five hours to vote, which
Councilmember McDuffie told frustrated voters was "completely unacceptable."
During the day yesterday, Councilmember McDuffie spoke with the
Chairman of the Board of Elections to express his frustration and
will continue to monitor this situation so that we do not
experience similar issues in November.
