Subject: Ward 5 Holiday Toy and Meal Giveaway

Neighbors,
Tomorrow
at 11am I will host a safe and socially distanced
holiday toy and meal giveaway outside at Brentwood Recreation
Center (2311 14th St NE). Toy’s and boxed meals will be given away
on a first come first serve basis. All adults and children ages two
and up must wear a mask, in the event you do not have a mask one
will be provided.
If you would like to donate a toy you may do so at Ivy City
Smokehouse (1356 Okie St Ne) or The Village Café (1272 5th St Ne)
until close
of business December 18th. All donated toys must be
new and unopened.
In accordance with the DC Department of Health, no more than 25
people will be allowed into the basketball court and social
distancing will be required. All adults and children ages two and
up must wear a mask, in the event you do not have a mask one will
be provided.
