come learn about the HPO Historic Homeowner Grant program (and the Bloomingdale Historic District design guidelines) at the next Bloomingdale Civic Association meeting -- Monday, 02-22-2021

Be sure to register for the Monday, 02-22-2021, Bloomingdale Civic Association meeting -- in order to learn about the DC Historic Preservation Office's historic homeowner grant program as well as the Bloomingdale Historic District design guidelines.

Learn about DC’s Historic Homeowner Grant Program

In 2018, the Bloomingdale Historic District (BHD) was established. This means that eligible homeowners living within the BHD can participate in the homeowner grant program, which offers non-taxable grants up to $25,000 to help pay for qualified repairs and improvements to historic homes.

The Bloomingdale Civic Association’s Historic Preservation Committee has invited Brendan Meyer from DC’s Historic Preservation Office to explain the grant program and Bloomingdale-specific design guidelines at the virtual BCA monthly meeting on Monday, February 22 at 7:00 pm.

Please join to learn more and get answers to frequently asked questions about this new opportunity for Bloomingdale homeowners.

Where/when: Virtual BCA general meeting, Monday, February 22, 7:00 pm EST.

How to join: Register for the meeting here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

If you have questions or specific topics you would like Brendan to address at the meeting, please email bcahistoricpreservation@gmail.com by Thursday, Feb. 18. Hope to see you there!
