two North Capitol deck over events: Community forum on 09/25; Community walk on 10/16/2021

Below are the two upcoming NCDO Steering Committee scheduled events: 

1) North Capitol Deck Over "Cap The Gap DC" Community Forum -> Saturday, September 25th, 2pm - 4pm

Location: St. Martin's Church, Pioneer Room (Entrance at 7 T Street NW)

Note: Virtual attendance option will be available & Live Streaming is planned courtesy of Spark Street Digital                                            

2) North Capitol Deck Over "Cap The Gap DC" Walking Tour -> Saturday, October 16th, 8.30am - 10am

Overview: Historical background and context, including Bloomingdale's significant role as an epicenter of African American challenge to racial covenants, what North Capitol was like before highwayization and what can be.  

Location: Meet at the History Trail Marker in the corner park at the intersection of First St NW, Rhode Island Ave and T Street NW
