Reminder- tomorrow, Thursday, will be the second meeting of the Mayor`s Task Force on Flooding. Location - Wilson Building again, but hopefully, the 4:30 start time will allow some of you to attend. There is a period for public comment on the agenda. Please try to attend, especially if you have not had an opportunity to speak at any other meetings. Put a face on our problem!

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

MAYOR’S TASK FORCE ON THE PREVENTION OF FLOODING IN THE BLOOMINGDALE AREA

 
The Mayor’s Task Force on the Prevention of Flooding in the Bloomingdale Area will hold a meeting on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. The Task Force will recommend strategies to prevent, and mitigate the effects of, flooding associated with heavy rains in the Bloomingdale and LeDroit Park neighborhoods. The meeting will be held in Room G-9 of the John A. Wilson Building, located at 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20004. The meeting is open to the public.

Public Comment Period
The meeting agenda includes a public comment period. Members of the public who wish to speak during the public comment period are requested to register at least three (3) business days before the meeting. To register, please provide your name, your telephone number or email address, and organizational affiliation (if any) to Phyllis Love by telephone at 202-478-9200 or by email at phyllis.love@dc.gov. The time limit for speakers is three (3) minutes. Public speakers are also requested to submit at least two (2) written copies of their testimony at the meeting.
