There has been some confusion about the dates for Historic Preservation Review Board (HPRB) hearings and the Mayor's Agent hearing on McMillan, so I have copied an explanation below that I requested from the DC Office of Planning. It seems that the HPRB will be Thursday, April 4 -schedule will potentially be released at the end of this week.
Hope this helps.
From the DC Historic Preservation Office (HPO):
On March 28 the raze application filtration sites will be heard by HPRB. Since razing the landmark structures are not in compliance with the DC Preservation Law, HPRB will in all probability deny the request forwarding the question on to the Mayor’s Agent Hearing Officer for the April 5 hearing to resolve the issue. The April 5 hearing will relate only to the raze application, not the Master Plan.
At this time, we anticipate the revised Master Plan review at the second date of the monthly hearing – Thursday, April 4. I do not have exact times for either case at this time. The agenda will be released late Thursday and I will post it along with staff reports the following day.
