DC Water preparing parking lots (?) for Bloomingdale residents directly impacted by the upcoming dropshaft projects

I am * assuming * that the clearing of these two areas along 2nd Street NW between W Street NW and Bryant Street NW, westside, is for offstreet parking for those neighbors near Flagler & Adams NW, 1st & V NW and 1st NW.

If my assumption is incorrect, please advise.

This space is facing southward at 2nd and Byrant Street NW looking towards W Street NW.

This is the same space as the pic above; this is facing northward from the 200 block of W Street NW facing Bryant St NW.  Where will the curb cut go?

This lot is directly west of the space in the above two pics; this is on the 200 block of W Street NW, sort of across the street from the Williston Apartments.
