I called up DCRA and they do in fact only have a permit for interior work. The guy said he won't send an inspector out until Monday but I think if enough people call about this that might change.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the PIVS Application there is a permit B1405061 issued on 3/11/14 for "THIS PERMIT IS DEMOLITION ONLY .Remove existing walls and install new beams Replace damaged stair Replace rotten joists". That looks like they may have gone beyond the limits of the permit if it was for interior work.
