Yesterday, a Neighbor for McMillan said after she canvassed her neighborhood to educate fellow residents, “Everyone has busy lives, and many things that they could do instead of coming out to meetings, or volunteering time to help, but if every one of those people just spent a few hours showing their support, this project could be a reality.”

Her words could not be more true- taking just a few hours to show your support can be the difference between a fenced off, abandoned industrial site and a beautiful place with open park space, affordable housing, a much needed grocery store and thousands of jobs in the community.

We are halfway through the McMillan PUD Zoning hearings.  The support from local residents for our plan has been overwhelming and testament to the significant work we have done with surrounding communities to create a plan that we all own.
