Date: Wed, 24 Sep 2014 21:32:53 +0000
Dear FST Residents and Stakeholders,
DC Water has updated the website and cordially invites you to review the information provided on the First Street Tunnel Project. (http://www.dcwater.com/FirstStreetTunnel)
In addition to the link above, DC Water’s First Street Tunnel Project information is available on the DC Water main webpage (http://dcwater.com/) by clicking the “First Street Tunnel” link under the Clean River logo on the right hand side of the page. FST project information will be uploaded to the website on a regular basis as we proceed with the construction phase of this important flood control and environmental improvement project.
Of particular interest on the site is the Breaking News page, including action items related to traffic and safety concerns, a new section on Noise and Vibration Reporting, and the PowerPoint presentations from previous public meetings, including the Tunnel Forum meetings held in the community since February 2014.
The next Tunnel Forum meeting is Thursday, September 25th at 7PM at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 160 U Street NW, Washington, DC.
Keep in mind that in addition to the web site, the project has a 24/7 Hotline (1-844-FST-INFO or 378-4636) for residents with immediate construction related issues and concerns or to request shuttle service. DC Water welcomes any comments or suggestions that will assist us in improving the delivery of information on the First Street Tunnel Project.
