Yesterday, I went to the DDOT web site and their home page advertised that you could apply "now" for a 2015 VPP. I clicked on the link and applied and received a confirmation email.
Today, after conversations with a neighbor and DDOT, I was told that you cannot apply for a 2015 VPP until October 1.
Please read this correction and forgive any confusion.
Just to clarify - the 2014 VPP, which indicates it will expire at the end of September, will now be valid until the end of December 2014.
To receive a 2015 VPP, -" A resident may register for a VPP either online at http://vpp.ddot.dc.gov, or by phone at (202) 671-2700"
DDOT now has a new page with FAQs about the 2015 program:

Hope this helps (and that DDOT will not make any more changes).
Thanks for clarifying, Betsy!
ReplyDeleteI registered, and received a letter this week telling me that current passes were being extended through the end of the year.
