MPD reports a shooting earlier this afternoon on the 100 block of Bates St NW

The 5th district is investigating a shooting which took place on 3-14-2016 at approximately 3pm in the 100 blockof Bates st NW

             

The complainant reports while in the 100 block of Bates St. NW, he heard the sound of gunshots. The complainant began to run from the location when he realized he had been shot in the right arm. The complainant was transported to a local hospital.
