Authorities charged a 19-year-old man with assault with a dangerous weapon after police said a victim was injured during a botched robbery attempt in Northwest Washington.
A few men apprehended the would-be robber, who police identified as Charles Epps of no fixed address, before officers arrived.
Authorities said the men were working on a vacant house near Crispus Attucks Park when Epps tried to rob one of them Monday morning.
