Narcotics and Special Investigations Division Activity Report

(Washington, DC)  – The Metropolitan Police Department’s Narcotic Enforcement Unit and Gun Recovery Unit announced recent arrests that have been made in cases in the District of Columbia.

Narcotic Enforcement Unit Arrests:

• On Saturday, January 28, 2017, members conducted an operation at North Capitol and R Streets, Northeast.  CCN: 17-015-862.  The following person was arrested:
• 39-year-old Billy Toney, Jr., of Northwest, DC, for Distribution of Synthetic Cannabinoids.

Gun Recovery Unit Arrests:

• On Sunday, January 29, 2017, members were patrolling in the 1800 block of Lincoln Road, Northeast.  CCN: 17-016-568.  The following person was arrested:
• 16-year-old Juvenile Male, of Northwest, DC, for Carrying a Pistol Without a License.

The Metropolitan Police Department continues to investigate these offenses.
