Catholic University School of Architecture Spring Lecture Series lecture

"Imagining Tomorrow's Washington, D.C."

presented by Pechakucha Night
Monday, March 27, 5-6pm,
Koubek Auditorium in the Crough Building (the School of Architecture building)
Room 140

One of the speakers will be Professor Miriam Gusevich who has long worked to find a much brighter future for McMillan Park, and has crafted an alternative design proposal for revitalizing McMillan that is *consistent* with the recommendations of the Comprehensive Plan (not "not inconsistent," but literally consistent with them), suggestions and expressed wishes of the community, and general high aesthetic appreciation for the history and beauty of the site as well as the needs and wants of the community.  Professor Gusevich will speak about McMillan briefly as one of five persons on the program.

Please see further information and registration information for that lecture here.  Professor Gusevich has presented her alternative plan at several formal hearings on McMillan and broadly to groups around the city.
