ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't this have to go though a competitive process for proposals? I hope it has useful retail for the neighborhood, for example some kind of grocery store.
ReplyDeleteThe Joe Mamo lot is privately owned and therefore does not go through a competitive process.
ReplyDeleteAt the Monday, 01/28/2109, Bloomingdale Civic Association meeting, the development team presenting the project mentioned a convenience store as a potential retail tenant. But I do not believe that there have been any letters of intent regarding the retail space.
