Field to City: New Ecommerce Site

Some news from one of Bloomingdale's retail businesses -- Field to City:

From Field to City`s Kim Wee:

We`ve built a simple new website which features a much-improved online shopping cart. Only our locally sourced products are listed, which things easier to keep current on our end. Meat, milk, produce and other goods such as granola, chocolate and honey are on there. Feel free to use the site to browse our products, and you can help us by posting reviews. Orders can be picked up at the store Monday through Friday, or we can arrange delivery as well.

Just log on to fieldtocity.com

Click on the picture of the vegetable patch, and you are in our ecommerce realm! Our site will be updated frequently.

Please email any questions or comments to fieldtocity@gmail.com.

Big Bear Cafe, the Bloomingdale Farmers' Market, Field to City and the Florida Avenue Park (across the street from Big Bear) are all mentioned.

Glad that I don't own a pork pie hat.

What do you think?

stale news: Timor Bodega is now FieldtoCity

Catching up on some neighborhood news here on the blog.

See this 4/2/2011 message from Kim Wee, proprietor of the business formerly known as Timor Bodega:

Timor Bodega is now known as FieldtoCity.

And it is going to be more than a neighborhood store from now on! We have a website, fieldtocity.com that features an online shopping cart.

Starting Monday, 4-4-2011, we are able to take orders and deliver the same day to anyone in DC. We expect to have a wider customer base shortly, which will allow us to offer even more locally sourced products in turn.

So please tell your friends across the city about us!
