seeking housing in Bloomingdale
My boyfriend and I are moving in together and looking for an apartment starting May 1st. Our ideal situation would be a sunny 1BR with some kind of access to the outdoors (balcony or a patio) that includes a washing and dryer for under $1600, but we are willing to look at any great places in the neighborhood (preferably not a basement apartment). Our moving dates are flexible (June 1st would be ok too) but we`d love to have the move settled before the real DC summer begins. I have lived in a group house in Bloomingdale for four years, teach at the Yoga District, shop at Field to City, drink coffee at Big Bear and just generally love everything about this community, which is why I really want to stay here. When I`m not teaching Yoga, I`m a photographer, a freelance writer and practice Thai massage. My boyfriend works as the director of membership at a great non-profit and has a gift for house plants (which is why we need a sunny space). We are both in our early 30`s, non-smokers, are pretty low-key and friendly people and like being part of a neighborhood. We don`t currently own a pet but are interested in getting a small dog in the next year or so. If you know of any places, please contact me at gracy.obuchowicz@gmail.com. Thanks.

couple seeking 1 BR apartment in Bloomingdale
See this housing request message:
Hello - I am a current resident of Bloomingdale (1st and V st NW) who is searching for a 1 BR apartment that my girlfriend and I can call home starting in August. I have lived in the neighborhood for two years and would love to continue living in the community. A little about us. I am currently completing my thesis for my master program while also working part time on a project at a DC think tank. Katie works in international development and is currently in Uganda for work until July 20. We are a clean, respectful, easy-going couple that likes to be out doing things around town.

seeking rental housing in Bloomingdale
See this request from a Bloomingdale resident:
I have been living in Bloomingdale for the past two years, fell in love, and as I look for a new apartment, I`d love to stay in the area. I am a professional, 27-year-old, working in communications for a large non-profit near Penn Quarter. I am interested in a one bedroom apartment or studio and prefer to live alone. My price range is around $1,200 - $1,300, so that narrows my options, but to stay in Bloomingdale, I`d be willing to adjust. The neighborhood is great, and I would hate to leave! Please let me know if you have any information or housing options.
