Solar Homes Tour includes Bloomingdale residence

20th Annual Tour of Solar Homes in the Washington region

There are over 70 homes on this year`s tour displaying active and passive solar features as well as other green features. And, there is a Bloomingdale home on the tour. 207 S Street, NW complete with PV panels that provide 90% of the owners` electricity usage, new energy-efficient windows, a solar-dryer, and a clothes centrifuge that allows effective use of the solar dryer even in winter will be on the tour on Sunday.

Free brochures are available for download from the above website, printed brochures are available at 207 S Street, NW on Friday evening from 6PM-8PM and all day Sunday ($5).
