Thank you so much for your support! Come celebrate one month in business with us this Saturday the 7th! We have a few things planned:
In the morning Jessica -- head pastry chef of Hawthorne -- will come by to chat and maybe reveal the secrets behind the best blueberry muffin in town (or maybe you prefer the sticky buns? or the chocolate croissants? or the raisin scones?).
Then, around 2:30 pm or so in the afternoon, we'll have a complimentary coffee tasting of 5 of Counter Culture's single origins: La Golondrina, from Cauca, Colombia; Dolok Sanggul, Sumatra; Gayo, Aceh, Sumatra; Gitare, Kiambu, Kenya; and Finca nueva Armenia, Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Did you know that coffee is like wine? Each region produces a distinctive taste, and we've chosen a few different ones to highlight. Taste them all and decide on your favorite!
We will also debut our Big Bear t-shirts for men, women, children, and dogs. And we will begin selling our delicious house coffee by the pound.
