1) 2019 St. Martin Church Parish Cook-In is on Sunday, August 25th/1:30PM - 3:30 PM. FREE Cookout-style food, popcorn, and snow cones while they last! Information tables for Sunday School, upcoming B&W History Ministry Activities, Moon Bounce, blood pressure/glucose screening, mini golf, great DJ music and MORE to ENJOY! See You There!!!

2) B abd W MINISTRY extends our Support the Girls Service Project through Sunday, August 25th!!! Collecting ONLY dry feminine products (sanitary pads, POISE pads, etc.) and new/newly USED & CLEAN bras of all shapes, sizes, colors and styles. Give contributions to Ushers at end of Mass or call 202-232-1144 to schedule a time to drop-off donated items. Thanks!

3) Let’s Do Brunch with the Queens! Saturday, Sept. 7th. Brunch@11:15 AM followed by a Tour-Guided Queens of Egypt exhibit@1:45 PM. B&W rates: $10 for 60+, $12.50 for Adults 18-59, $9 for Students & children 18 and younger. Ticket price does not include Brunch; Brunch is optional. Provide completed B&W Payment Form & money (cash or check) by 8 PM Thursday, August 22nd.

It’s Back!   

Time again for the ever popular National Night Out!               

National Night Out (NNO) is an annual event, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, that takes place on the first Tuesday in August. Each year, the Metropolitan Police Department actively participates in National Night Out by rallying community members throughout the District of Columbia to join with neighbors and police officers in their PSAs to be a part of this annual event.

The National Night Out campaign involves citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from 9,500 communities from all 50 states, US territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide.

The flyer is attached. If you would like to volunteer and help us out let us know!

When: Tuesday, August 6, 2019

Sharon is 200-hour registered yoga teacher who has been practicing for 10 years.  She's currently working to complete 200hr and 500hr certifications from the Dharma Yoga Center in NYC.  She's also a 6-year Bloomingdale resident.

Date/Time: Sunday, August 25, 2019/1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Setup Time: Starting at 11:30 AM, but no later than 1:00 PM on 8/25/19

Location: St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church Pioneer Room
               (Entrance to Pioneer Room is located on 7 T Street, NW--ramp is available)

St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church is located at 1908 North Capitol Street, NW
and as last time, the event will take place in The Pioneer Room, which is in the basement of the Church.

I have attached a flyer for your review and to share.  If unable to open attachment, let me know so I may send via another mode.
