Rhode Island Avenue NE/Great Streets Strategic Development Plan

Passing this along:

All,

As many of you now know, development of the Rhode Island Avenue NE/Great Streets Strategic Development Plan is underway. The plan will provide recommendations, among others, about how to use the land along Rhode Island Avenue to capture a portion of the $1 billion in retail sales revenues (and jobs) lost each year to other jurisdictions.

Moving forward, it is important to know more about the relationship residents, businesses and property owners have with Rhode Island Avenue. One of the ways to do that is by survey. A confidential and voluntary survey is available online until November 30, 2008. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete. In December, a summary of the survey results will be available to the public.

Here is the link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=65teB4MEBR2ZyyPJNm8Juw_3d_3d

Please note that only one survey response is allowed per computer. If there is more than one user for a computer and you need an additional survey please contact me at steve @ collabstrat.com. I can send an additional survey to you electronically, by fax or post.

Thank you for your involvement in this important effort.

Should you have questions about the project, please contact Derrick Lanardo Woody, Coordinator-Great Streets Initiative, Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development at derrick.woody@dc.gov or (202) 727-2981.

Best regards,

Steve
