I applaud North Capitol Main Street for bringing corporate actors like AirBnB to the main street corridor. However I think it would have been much more productive and useful to residents had the community been apprised of their presence before hand and perhaps allowed an opportunity to have a community dialogue around Airbnb's position on the so-called affordable housing legislation from the mcduffie office which seeks to regulate a homeowners use of homes. Maybe NCMS could tell us the purpose of having AirBnB meet small biz owners or an overview of the objective of the "merchant walk"".
