Langley Elementary School MLK Service Day/Community
Project -- THIS SATURDAY!
In
honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service to others, the PTSA of
Bloomingdale neighborhood school Langley Elementary is hosting a service day at
the school this Saturday, January 19th, to help beautify the school
interiors. Join us any time between 9am and 3pm. Current and prospective
Langley families are welcome, as are community members who would like to pitch
in and help improve our local elementary school.
We will paint walls
to create a more bright and welcoming space for our school
community, and will spruce up the library a bit as well by cleaning up and
organizing books. Kids of all ages are invited to come and help.
If you can join us, even
just for one hour, please do! If you plan on coming, please email Kathrin
Frauscher (kfrauscher@gmail.com) for
planning purposes. We will have coffee and some breakfast treats for grown ups
and kids alike.
