give Windows Cafe and Market more business!

See this 06-12-2019 message from a Randolph Place NW resident:

Windows Café (aka your Bloomingdale super store that has been here for almost 2 decades) is actually open, they’ve just been closed for a couple of days in an unscheduled manner this week because business has been unusually slow (and therefore not worth having employees there).

One way to ensure that you can always shop at Windows in such a convenient LOCAL way is to give the store more business yourself!

To preempt a common complaint: One hears local neighbors complain about W’s inflated prices — but honestly, that is a ridiculous criticism: you pay inflated prices for real estate here, compared to most other places in the nation. Can you pay even higher prices at Whole Foods, having to drive there and park.   More importantly, the extreme convenience of being able to walk there, and buy virtually any last minute items at 8 PM around the corner from your house, instead of having to sit in your car and drive to a grocery store, cannot be beat! So stop complaining that Windows does not have Costco prices. It is simply unreasonable to expect that. (for those unconvinced still: Just wait until you own your own local business, and the shoe will be on the other foot.). Give them your business, and benefit from extended hours!
