Washington, DC award winning children’s book author Tom Noll’s "Trash to Treasure" Series * Recycling Creatively with L.T. with its books "The Bicycle Fence" (2014) & "Selling Eggs"(2015) that were written to empower, educate and inspire young readers to recycle and go green in ways that are creative, practical and fun. The books help kids understand that everyday tasks like rethinking what to do with discarded things, reducing waste, reusing and repurposing things around their homes can have a positive impact on our environment and lives.

Both books in his Series have the Gold Mom’s Choice Award® Winners for Children’s Picture Books. His "Selling Eggs" book won the 2016- Benjamin Franklin Silver Award from the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA).

Tom is a native of Somerset, Ohio and is indeed a "Renaissance Man" as besides being a children's book writer; he is an artist, puppeteer, storyteller, teacher, sculptor (recycled rebar & sandstone), landscape designer, decorator, advocate for children's education, recycler and and going green!

He is well known in the WDC metro area for his popular and imaginative White Bicycle Fence Art Installation at the Heart of Bloomingdale Park (Corners of Rhode Island Avenue/1st Street and T St NW) which he decorates for major holidays and has become a tourist photo site.
