Perfect Market and Salad weather. I have been making wonderful salads every day with Shenandoah's many salad heads. They stay fresh for days because they pick them at the coolest part of the day and they "hydrocool" them when they wash the heads.  Makes for very long storage and sweet leaves

REID's ORCHARDS  turns into a popup nursery every year at this time so you can find all the herbs and tomatoes and peppers and vegetables and Geranium and other annuals you need to beautify your gardens and patios and balconies -- and make your cooking herbalicious.  So here is a partial list: Many kins of sweet and hot peppers with their scoville heat ratings so you know if they are hot enough for the chileheads. Tomatoes include heirloom, cherry, grape and good old delicious hybrid red.  onal Geraniums, Mosquito Shocker Geraniums.  Racks of bedding plants. Strawberries, Apples and Reid's own preserves and canned good.

AND LOTS OF Reid's  STRAWBERRIES.......                        

KING MUSHROOMS: 8 kinds of 'shrooms including various colors and size of oyster mushrooms, shiitakes, hen of the woods, lions mane.

NUMBER 1 SONS: Cucumber Pickles:Half Sours, Crispy Koshers, Horseradish Pickles and Honey Habaneros. Ramp Kraut. Salsa Verde, Giardiniera. 2 kinds of Kimchi: Sons and Kicky. Krauts: Rosetido, Mustard,Ramp. Thai Gold Beets. Kombucha: 3 classicflavors and Cranberry Hisbiscus.

GROFF'S CONTENT: Grass Fed Meats: Beef (steaks, roasts, ground,  sausages, patties etc). Pork (chops, bacon, roasts, sausages etc). Whole Chickens, some Turkey parts. All Beef Hot Dogs and Half Smokes.  Lamb in roasts and cuts. Pork liver Pâté. Birria. Boeuf Bourguignon, Chicken and Veggie Soup, Italian Wedding Soup, Beef and Chicken Enchiladas, Beef Chili, Chicken Pot Pie, Beef Shepherd's Pie.

WHISKED: Andre says: Brace yourselves. This week we will have Strawberry Rhubarb Pie.Pies: Apple Crumble, Bourbon Pecan, Sea Salt Chocolae Chess, Salted Caramel Apple, Cherry. Cookies (Chocolae Chip, Salty Oamteal, Molassses Spice, Pretzel Cowboy, Snickerdoodle,  Vegan: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Lemon Poppy Seed, Chocolate Blackout, Peppermint Chocolate. 


CUCINA AL VOLO: Homemade Fettucine, Bucatini, Strozzapretti, Cavatelli,  Mushroom Pappardelle, Smoked Pepper, Pappardelle, Handmade Gnocchi, Stuffed Squash: Butternut Squash, Burrata,Spinach and Cheese, Beef Brisket,  Buy them frozen and keep them in your freezer.  Toss them into simmering, salted water and they are done in less than 5 minutes. Perfect fast food as it should be.
