Washington Area Bicycle Association (WABA)'s proposed bike network for the Bloomingdale area -- 2020 throught 2040

This is not new news.  I just ran across this at the website of the Washington Area Bicycle Association (WABA).
  
Note that these maps are from WABA and not from DDOT.

I have no idea what DDOT thinks of this proposed bicycle network.

Perhaps the bicycle network devotees can comment…

See these proposed WABA protected line projects.  I have highlighted the Bloomingdale area.

I looked at the WABA maps for three time periods: 2020, 2021-2025 and 2040. I included snips of the maps of the Bloomingdale area.  

1) 20x2020 – connected, protected and equitable bike network – including 5^th St NW and Lincoln Road NE

2) 2021-2025 protected bike lane projects – including Florida Ave NE & 1^st St NE in NoMa

3) 2040 on-street bike network vision – including 4^th St NW, Rhode Island Avenue and Florida Avenue
