Just want to give kudos to Red Toque, the Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean restaurant that just opened up in the Shaw Eco Village's former bike shop at 6th and Rhode Island Avenue NW.
The food is very good and very affordable, and owner Seth (Hussain pre-9/11, he told us, a sad commentary on our times) is very gracious and kind.

I finally went to this place. it's a great comfortable space. i had the falafel and thought it was fantastic.
