see the WDCEP 2014 neighborhood profile for North Capitol

Each year, the Washington DC Economic Partnership produces a set of profiles of DC neighborhoods.

What is the WDCEP?  The Washington, DC Economic Partnership "promotes business opportunities throughout the District and contributes to business retention and attraction activities."

WDCEP recently released its set of 2014 neighborhood profiles.

North Capitol is one of the neighborhoods profiled, as in prior years.

The header image for North Capitol includes Rustik Tavern, Red Hen and Uncle Chips Cookies.

Other nearby neighborhoods profiled: NoMa, Northwest One and Union Market.

Each neighborhood profile includes a map, a few paragraphs of description, followed by info on population, households, income, age, consumer expenditures and walk score.

Take a look!

Never heard of North Capitol as a "neighborhood"....and the agglomeration of Eckington/Truxton/Bloomingale/Ledroit has been called "mid-city" by city planners ... don't know why they didn't just put the names of the neighborhoods instead as they did for the other places. Seems like they can't get their own terminology right.
