A meeting on June 29th could decide the future of the McMillan Reservoir. https://t.co/wzxVWXMWLP pic.twitter.com/ceucanWnSE— UrbanTurf (@UrbanTurf_DC) June 14, 2017
And here are the first two paragraphs of this Urban Turf post:
Last year’s DC Court of Appeals decision to remand the McMillan Reservoir redevelopment back to the Zoning Commission (ZC) dealt a major setback to plans to construct a mixed-use community on the 25 acre-site along North Capitol Street between Michigan Avenue and 2501 First Street NW (map).
Now, after a series of zoning meetings brought forth new testimony addressing the concerns of neighborhood organization Friends of McMillan Park (FOMP), the Commission announced that it will hold a special public meeting discussing the McMillan redevelopment on June 29th.
Zoning Commission will hold 2 closed meetings, June 22&29 at 5, then tentatively, a special public meeting at 7 on 29th to deliberate 13-14.— Bloomingdame (@bloomingdame) June 14, 2017
