At around 2:40 am MPD responded to an adult female shot in the foot on the 200 block of W Street, NW.  The victim is conscious and stable. 

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099.  Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
