HAENYO @ Big Bear

All month long, we have been hosting a  Korean food pop up with the amazing chef's behind Baltimore based Haenyo. Haenyo is the partnership between Irvin Seo & Colin Morstein who met while working at Woodberry Kitchen. Their cuisine features locally farmed ingredients prepared using traditional Korean techniques. Simply put, it's really amazing!

This week they will be hosting their last three nights at the cafe (Wednesday - Friday). Wednesday and Thursday will run as usual with counter service and an a la carte menu (see attached). On Friday, they are going out with a bang, hosting an all you can eat Korean buffet. Below is a note from the team detailing Friday's party.

'haenyo wants to thank you. This Friday, we're capping off our stay with a family dinner for those who have welcomed us this past month. From 5:30 to 10 p.m, the kitchen will send out Korean BBQ, homemade banchan, pajeon (scallion pancakes), noodles and more . A flat $25 gets you as much food as you want. Come by, share a drink and some food and celebrate with us. We're calling this "The Old Country Buffet" -- it doesn't really matter, but we thought it was good.

We're going to limit to the first 80 people. This is annoying to have to do but we want to make sure everyone gets enough to eat.

Tickets will not be sold in advance. Just come on in, pay at the counter and we'll food you down."
