Subject: [HistoricWashington] March with McMillan July 4, Legal Update

Dear Save McMillan Park Supporters!

===========================

We have refiled McMillan Appeals
===========================

Both Friends of McMillan Park and DC for Reasonable Development have filed our appeals of the bogus Mayor's Agent and Zoning Commission decisions that have come out over the past couple of months.

Now the legal teams are forming and if you'd like to help read the decisions and help the volunteer team of sleuths to fact check vis-a-vis DC laws, please let us know you'd like to help us win:  smac.dc@gmail.com

We will have a press release/conference coming soon!

March with McMillan on July 4
===========================

For the past several years Friends of McMillan Park has walked with our 'Save McMillan Park' banner and flyers in the Palisades Independence Day Parade and we plan to do so again this Wednesday, July 4th.  We hope you'll consider joining us!  Get independent of corporate control over our local government and keep their hands off our public land and park.

If you'd like to join us in the parade on Wednesday, July 4th, please find us at the parade's starting point, on Whitehaven Parkway in front of Our Lady of Victory School (beside the fire station) before parade kick-off time of 11am (or join up with us later along the parade route).  We'll be there by about 10am to secure a good space (the line-up is first come, first serve, and free for all).

The Friends of McMillan Park have invited all to march together!

Thanks for staying engaged and involved in saving our Park!
