Young Female Pit Bull Found
I was walking my dog around 10:30 this morning and we were approached by a very friendly female pit bull who was not on a leash. She found us around 2nd St NW between Randolph and S St NW, but we have no idea how far she had run. She seems young and looks well taken care of and responds to commands.
Please take a look at her pics. I'm not very active on Twitter, so I would really appreciate if a few folks could pass this along. (Thanks in advance.) Thanks a million to Mimi and Whitney at Expetations, who were so helpful in providing some temporary shelter. If you know who this dog belongs to, please e-mail me at suzanne at desmaraisrealestate dot com.
**Update** Owner and dog reunited! (See comment below).

Good News!!! Just received from Whitney and Mimi:
Well, that was fast -- a neighbor saw the Bloomingdale blog post and this craigslist post and contacted Mimi. The owners just came and picked up Loo. You certainly did your good deed for the day/weekend/month -- good teamwork!
I can't thank you enough for getting Loo back to us. She apparently had quite the adventure. She's been microchipped ... but without her collar/tags, I was worried something might happen to her before anyone had the opportunity to scan her and contact us.
Great teamwork, indeed.
Many thanks to Whitney, Mimi, Suzanne and the Bloomingdale Community!
