The switch from Harris Teeter to Whole Foods also makes sense in the context of the other retail offerings coming to the neighborhood: JBG recently announced that hip eyewear retailer Warby Parker, luxury watchmaker Benrus and several other new-to-D.C., high-end retailers would be coming to The Shay, one of its other residential buildings nearby.
