Subject: Community Construction Update - Bloomingdale

Dear Bloomingdale Community,
As you are aware, our contractor is hard at work to
complete the remaining construction activities under our Small Diameter Water
Main Replacement Project in your area. Before completion of the work in
February 2017, there are still quite a bit of water service line replacements
and water main tie-ins that must be done. In order to meet this deadline,
please be advised that our contractor must perform some work on weekends and
slightly past normal week day work hours (7:00am-7:00pm, Monday through
Friday). Please be reminded that, at the outset of this project, the
information that was provided did include a statement that during certain
intervals we would possibly need to perform work at night or during weekends.
While we fully understand the inconvenience caused by late
night work, please understand that we are trying to get this critical work
completed as quickly as possible. Please also know that we are working with our
contractor to minimize any heavy construction activities taking place past
9:00pm.
Please also keep in mind that temporary water service
interruptions are necessary during this phase of the project; affected
residents will, however, be notified 48 hours in advance of any scheduled water
shut offs and disruptions should last no longer than 8 hours.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and
appreciate your patience as we work to complete this project on schedule.
