Last year’s DC Court of Appeals
decision to remand
the McMillan Reservoir redevelopment back to the Zoning Commission
(ZC) dealt a major setback to plans to construct a mixed-use community on the
25 acre-site along North Capitol Street between Michigan Avenue and 2501 First
Street NW (map).

meetings brought forth new testimony
addressing the concerns of neighborhood organization Friends of McMillan Park (FOMP),
the Commission announced that it will hold a special public meeting discussing
the McMillan redevelopment on June 29th.
