View this email in your browser A Night on the Farm Join us as our urban farm transforms into an elegant cocktail party at our sixth annual fundraising event, A Night on the Farm, on Thursday, October 5 from 6:30-8:30pm. The event will feature farm-fresh bites from local chefs at DC Harvest, Dino's Grotto, Roofers Union, Taqueria del Barrio, and Big Bear Cafe. Enjoy wine, beer from DC Brau, and a specialty cocktail from One Eight Distilling as well as live jazz music from Pete Muldoon. Don't miss out on this special event! Reserve your tickets now before they run out!                                 September Volunteer Workday On Saturday, September 30, we will host another volunteer workday on the farm from 10am-1pm. Enjoy fresh air and get out in nature with the communty. Volunteer tasks may include planting seeds, weeding, painting, and building. Then we'll celebrate your hard work with food generously donated by Chipotle and Cava. RSVP here for this fun, free event. Fall Field Trips Registration is open for Fall field trips! Chaperoned classes are invited to tour the farm and receive hands-on education. Field trips are held Tuesdays or Wednesdays in September and October and are generally 1.5 hours long.
