MPD: burglary on the 2000 block of 1st Street NW at abot 12:51 pm

Subject: [MPD-5D] Burglary- 2000 Block 1st Street, NW

At approximately 12:51 p.m., a Burglary occurred in the 2000 Block of 1st Street, Northwest.  The scene is still under investigation.  

The suspect description is as follows:
    

Black male, 5’8”, 160lbs, brown complexion, high top fade haircut with twist on top.  Last seen wearing a blue or black V-neck shirt, grey sweatpants, black and white tennis shoes, carrying a black and grey book bag.  The suspect fled eastbound on Adams Street towards North Capitol Street, Northeast.

This person is described like the guy I've seen pics of on NextdoorBloomingdale....taking stuff from porches and from unlocked cars....
