Only
ONE space left in The Unified Scene Theater's five-week Improv For Business
Leaders (Present and Future) class, which starts this Wednesday evening (Oct.
18th)
We
hear many reasons why students sign up for an improv class. Everything from “I
need better people skills” to “I need to do something fun outside of my job”.
What if improv skills could actually enhance your career by taking the fun, joy
and life-skills experienced with improv and using these to help enhance your
own on-the-job skill-sets?
Our
Improv for Business Leaders class, team taught at The Unified Scene Theater (80
T Street NW, Bloomingdale) by Shawn Westfall (Artistic
Director of The Unified Scene Theater, and former senior advertising creative
with 20+ years experience) and Kathy Baird Westfall (co-founder
of The Unified Scene Theater, and currently Managing Director of Digital
Content and Social Media for all of North America at Ogilvy & Mather will teach you to
do just that. We will address a variety of realities and fears business
professionals face every day using the lens of improv, including public
speaking, going “off script”, collaboration, listening, "Emotional
Intelligence (EQ)", creativity, and body language.
This
five-week course (7 pm - 9:30 pm, Wednesday, October 18th through Wednesday,
November 15th) is designed for anyone who works in a business environment,
anyone who wants to work in a business environment, or frankly for anyone who
works and deals with others at all and is hoping to take the next steps in
their careers. No improv experience necessary.
