It's time to start planning for our neighborhood's BIGGEST
EVENT--the Crispus Attucks Park Community Day 2020 (save the date:
Saturday, May 16th)!
As you know, Crispus Attucks
Park is not a DC Park and gets no funding or help from the city at
all, so we rely on YOU to volunteer to keep our neighborhood gem
going.We need lots
of volunteer help to prep for the big day and on
the day itself, so please join the CADC Board at our planning
meeting to put your name down.

Dear
Friends of Crispus Attucks Park,
Are you willing
to be interviewed for a research study about the potential benefits
of green space? The research is in benefit of Nature Sacred,
the foundation that gave CADC the grant that made it
possible to build the Memory Garden and other park amenities. They’re looking to talk to
anyone in the community who uses and enjoys Crispus Attucks Park. It doesn’t
matter if you’ve only recently discovered the park.
Interviews by
phone are welcome and appreciated, but they’re also hoping to do a
few of them in person. Either way it shouldn’t take long, maybe 30
minutes.
If you’re
interested, let me know (jacorea@gmail.com) and I’ll share your email
address (or phone number if you prefer) with the researcher,
Francesca Richardson. This is a great way for the community to
give back to an organization that has done so much for the park. Hope
to hear from some of you soon!
